Holistic quartet
The holistic quartet is an approach to the human being as a whole, where four essential levels are closely interconnected: body, mind, emotions and soul. This approach is based on the understanding that our wellbeing does not depend on just one aspect, but on the mutual balance of all of them.
The body reflects our physical condition and lifestyle, the mind encompasses thoughts, beliefs and attitudes, emotions signal our inner experiences and needs, and the soul connects to deeper meaning, values and inner peace.
When one of these levels is out of balance, it can affect the others. The holistic approach helps to notice and understand these connections in order to support overall balance and wellbeing.
In therapy, this means seeing the person as a whole – not only at the level of symptoms, but also at the level of their causes and deeper connections. The goal is to create a space where you can consciously understand yourself and find balance on all four levels.
