Let's get acquainted!
I am Kairi Kaugema, a therapist and your supportive companion on the journey. People often find their way to me when life has taken an unexpected turn, they are silently facing a crisis or when inner balance has gradually started to fade. As a person, I am naturally curious, knowledgeable and firmly grounded with both feet on the earth. This helps me create a safe and grounded space for you, where we can explore your inner world together.
How do I work as a therapist and what inspires me?
I am drawn to the whole person — your life story, inner patterns, behavioural mechanisms and the way past experiences and beliefs influence your current decisions, choices and relationships. I always look with an open mind at how a person navigates their world: what they talk about, what they stay silent about and what they may not yet have been able to put into words. I am deeply fascinated by the moment when understanding quietly clicks into place and a genuine space for change emerges.
In therapy I am supportive, honest and always present for you. I do not offer ready-made answers or quick fixes, but help you find your own unique path. My goal is to support you in understanding yourself more deeply and to help restore contact with your inner resources. It is extremely important to me that you feel safe, seen and understood during a session — real and lasting change happens in a safe relationship where you do not have to prove or justify anything.
My educational background and personal sources of balance
My path to becoming a therapist has been shaped by extensive experience working with people and a diverse educational background. I have studied at the University of Tartu, worked for years in the field of hobby education and supported young people as a teacher.
In addition, the natural world has become a very important source of balance for me, which is why I have also completed a landscape horticulture programme at Räpina Horticultural School. I love working in the garden and observing how growth and blossoming in nature requires time, care and great patience. I look at people and their personal development in exactly the same way — every untangling of a worry and every inner growth requires time and attentive care.
My worldview is also broadened by travelling and the history of different cultures. I know what I say and do — and I always do it with heart and lived experience.
If you feel that you need clarity, a new balance and a supportive companion in your life, you are warmly welcome.
Please note: Sessions are conducted in Estonian only.
